Facebook plans to start an email service
Facebook has decided to come out with increased set of features for its users in order to get more customers into its systems. According to sources, it is revealed that facebook plans to unveil its new initiative in a scheduled press conference on Monday.
Sources say that Facebook is eagerly looking forward to begin an email service and also few other communication services as part of an increased set of services for its users.
The recent initiative by facebook is seen as a step to attract more Americans into its fold. Facebook already has around 500 million users, and Americans are said to use facebook more than any other site, even Google and Yahoo.

Singapore airlines A380 to go for an engine change
Singapore had already grounded its A 380 jets, after a scare atop the Bantam islands in Indonesia.
The A 380 flight which was on its way to Sydney, Australia had to return to its base mid way through the flight because of engine functional collapse. Elaborate tests were conducted, and it was found that traces of oil leak exists on the engines.
After extensive research, the crux of the problem had been traced to A 380 engine. The Trent engines by Rolls Royce need a complete engine change. At present Singapore airlines had already grounded 3 of its A 380 planes, and once the engine problems are not fixed, the planes would remain grounded.
Rolls Royce had asked Singapore airlines to remove the engines so that it gets solved at the earliest.

Do US VISA fees would be lowered for Indians?
If you have any plans to go to US on an IT assignment, then you have to pay a hiked fee, which US have assigned to all those who are looking to come to United states to work in the IT industry.
The step was taken some time back, and Indians feel that they have been unduly targeted, as many Indian IT professionals work and go to US every year.
There has been lots of talk about VISA fee rise before the US president Barrack Obama was scheduled to visit, but the US government had categorically stated that India had not been targeted; there are some other countries that would also have to pay a higher fee for obtaining VISA on a trip to US.
US move to increase the VISA fee is to obtain extra funds in order to protect its border with Mexico.
The VISA fee rise would give a lot of boost to US finances. The move is expected to make US finances richer by $600M.
On top of VISA fee hike, the state of Ohio ban on outsourcing jobs to foreign countries would also put forward to the American delegation in India.
According to Gary Locke, US commerce secretary, Ohio outsourcing ban had affected India, as India in not a part of Government Procurement Agreement (GPA).

The merchants would now be able to offer special deals through mobile application. The move would help companies to increase their customer data base, and also offer its existing customers, a chance to grab discounts and coupon offers.

Agriculture would be the main agenda during Obama’s visit
In terms of business, agriculture would take centre stage as discussions are expected to hover around agriculture during President Barrack Obama’s visit to India this week.
The main point of discussion would be to have better food security for the people of India.

Intel has locked horns over Nvidia filed case against the chip giant.
The real trouble that has cropped up is Intel’s acquiring of Nvidia patents graphics technologies. Intel has got the right to Nvidia’s patent in a deal which took place in the year 2004. It was a period when Nvidia’s CEO Jen – shun Huang had witnessed a deal with the firm for a graphics design technology, which Intel was desperately seeking to lift its standard of Graphics design.
Nvidia had already established itself in video gaming sector, with its superior graphics design.
However, the turning point came when Nvidia joined hands with Intel in November 2004, but the deal always faced setbacks from the outset. According to Nvidia chief Jen- Shun Huang, Intel breached the deal, even during the initial period; Intel began selling the Nvidia bundled chip-set along with Intel’s CPU at a price which was lower than the price of CPU.
The move offset Nvidia marketing stability. Intel shunned Nvidia chip-sets, instead began using its own chip-sets, in its advance CPU called Nehalem. Nvidia has stressed the fact that its chip sets would have certainly covered the new Intel’s CPU Nehalem.
The problems continued, and now many leading computer firms won’t like to take on Intel by buying Nvidia’s chip sets. Intel feels the direct competition Nvidia is posing in the field of graphics design. It remains to be seen where the lawsuit would head to.
